AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1950X

AMD's Ryzen Threadripper processors are the company's much anticipated return to the highest echelons of CPU performance, and they've done quite a good job of challenging Intel's stranglehold on the market. The flagship Ryzen Threadripper 1950X features a whopping 16 cores and 32 threads, and is a veritable beast for anyone who works with heavily threaded workloads. You can now find the 1950X on Amazon at US$799 (~S$1,075), down from a usual price of S$1,589.

This item also ships to Singapore, with free AmazonGlobal Shipping available.

ASUS GeForce GTX 1080 8GB Turbo

The ASUS GeForce GTX 1080 8GB Turbo has a 1,607MHz base clock and 1,733MHz boost clock, the same as the Founders Edition model. It also uses a blower-style cooler, so hot air is exhausted out the back of the card. And because hot air isn't dumped back into the case, the card is quite suited for use in dual-GPU SLI setups or smaller cases where air flow could be an issue.

You can get it on Amazon for US$499.99 (~S$674), compared to a local price of around S$839. Free AmazonGlobal Shipping is also available for this card.

The 15.6-inch IPS display has a pretty standard 1,920 x 1,080-pixel resolution, but that's a good match with the laptop's GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card.

It is selling on Hachi.tech for S$2,399 (U.P. S$2,699).

Xbox One S 500GB

If you don't need the power of the Xbox One X, there's always the Xbox One S. The console supports 4K resolution videos and Blu-ray, in addition to HDR. It's also backward compatible with Xbox One games, so you don't have to throw your entire library of games out.

You can get it on GameStop at US$189.99 (~S$256), US$90 off its usual price tag. You'll have to use a shipping forwarder with this however, as GameStop only ships to US addresses.

It is selling on Hachi.tech for S$69.90 (U.P. S$84.90).

Logitech G900 Chaos Spectrum
