Singapore’s biggest tech show, Comex 2025, is here, and it is currently ongoing at Suntec City Convention Centre at level three (11am - 9pm) and level four (12pm - 9pm). The last day is 31 August

Like many other tech shows, I joined the HWZ team to check out the best gaming and audio deals available, and there were plenty of items that caught my eye (and hopefully yours too).

ASUS ROG SWIFT OLED PG32UCDM

The ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM is a 32-inch 4K QD-OLED gaming monitor designed for high-performance gaming and professional content work. It features a 3,840 x 2,160 QD-OLED panel with a 240Hz refresh rate and an ultra-fast 0.03ms Grey to Grey (GTG) response time, with G-Sync compatibility for smooth, tear-free gameplay. 

If you’re planning to use it for productivity work, the monitor is no slouch either with 99% DCI-P3 coverage, true 10-bit colour, VESA DisplayHDR 400 True Black Compliance, and a claimed Delta E of less than 2. Connectivity options are extensive, including DisplayPort 1.4 (DSC), HDMI 2.1, and USB-C with 90 W power delivery, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of devices.

The monitor is available for purchase for S$2,099 from the ROG booth (305) on level 3 and the Endless Passion Booth (8511) on level 4. However, you can bargain with the salesperson at the booths to give you a better price of S$1,931. 

ASUS ROG NUC 2025

The ASUS ROG NUC 2025 is a small yet mighty PC.

The ASUS ROG NUC 2025 is small but has some serious hardware in it. At its core is the Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor that has 8 performance and 16 efficiency cores with a turbo frequency of up to 5.4GHz. Paired with either an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 (currently sold out) or an RTX 5070 Ti GPU, it’s a great choice for those seeking top-tier performance without sacrificing desk space. 

The System in the picture comes equipped with 32GB of DDR5 RAM and a 1TB SSD. However, if that’s not enough, you can configure the system to suit your needs, opting for more storage and RAM.

You can find the ASUS ROG NUC 2025 with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070Ti at the ASUS booth (305) on level 3, Endless Passion Booth (8511), and the Dreamcore booth (8701) on level 4. The model above will set you back S$3,599

Aftershock X-16 Pro

It isn’t light, coming in at nearly 3kg.

Aside from their PCs, Aftershock also sells gaming laptops. The model shown in the photo, the Aftershock X-16 Pro, comes configured with an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 GPU with 16GB of VRAM. It also features 32GB of DDR5 memory and a 2TB PCIe SSD, providing enough storage for users planning to run multiple games on the machine.

The display is equally impressive. The 16-inch MiniLED screen offers a 300Hz refresh rate and a sharp resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels, with a peak brightness of 1,200 nits to ensure visibility even under harsh sunlight.

Successor to the original Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds, the second generation builds on the 2023 model with refined sound tuning, more advanced adaptive noise cancellation, and enhanced call quality. Like its predecessor, the earbuds support Bluetooth 5.3 with AAC, SBC, and aptX Adaptive, enabling hi-res, low-latency streaming on compatible devices.

Battery life remains at six hours per charge (24 with the case, or four with Immersive Audio), with quick charging providing up to two hours of playback in just 20 minutes. Other notable upgrades include smoother ANC transitions for sudden noises, AI-powered voice pickup with eight microphones, wireless charging, and the option to disable touch controls through the Bose app. 

Readers can try out the earbuds firsthand at the Bose booth (309). The earbuds come in Black, White Smoke, and Deep Plum, and are available for S$369 (SRP: S$379).

Elgato Stream Deck Plus

Elgato has long been a household name in the streaming industry. The Stream Deck Plus features eight customisable LCD keys, four tactile dials, and a touch-sensitive strip, all housed in a compact and sturdy chassis. It allows users to execute a variety of actions quickly, from adjusting audio levels to launching apps, controlling smart devices, and managing digital media. With one-touch control over software and hardware, the Stream Deck Plus streamlines workflows for content creators, streamers, and professionals, making complex tasks faster and more intuitive.

JBL Sense Lite

Released not too long ago, the JBL Sense Lite earbuds are designed for users who prefer a more open fit rather than traditional in-ear designs. Powered by 18×11mm dynamic drivers, they use JBL OpenSound Technology with air conduction to deliver detailed audio with punchy bass while keeping the ear canal open.

The earbuds feature an IP54 rating for water and dust resistance. Four beamforming microphones with environmental noise reduction provide clear calls, while the JBL Headphones app allows customisation via a 10-band EQ and touch controls. They offer up to 32 hours of total playtime and support dual-device Bluetooth connectivity.

The JBL Sense Lite is available for purchase from the JBL booth (378) on level 3 for S$159 (SRP: S$169). Each purchase comes with a free carrying pouch.

Lamzu Maya X

The Lamzu Maya X is available in White or Black.

The Lamzu Maya X is a lightweight gaming mouse that has quickly made a name for itself in the competitive gaming scene. With a slightly larger build than the original Maya, the X model features an ambidextrous shape that is comfortable for both claw and palm-grip users.

It’s equipped with a PAW3950 sensor that delivers up to 30,000 DPI and 750 inches per second (IPS) tracking. Additionally, it also supports wireless polling rates of up to 8,000Hz for smooth and responsive performance. The mouse weighs just 47g, features a grippy coating, and comes with smooth stock skates. Its optical switches ensure reliable clicks with no issues of double-clicking.

Overall, the Lamzu Maya X is a straightforward, lightweight gaming mouse that performs flawlessly right out of the box. 

The Lamzu Maya X can be found at The Laboratory by RF booth, next to Dreamcore (8701) on Level 4, for S$171 (SRP: S$189.90).

Marshall Bromley 750 Speaker

If you’re at the Challenger booth and hear music blasting from across the show floor, it’s likely coming from Marshall’s new Bromley 750 party speaker. With a peak power output of 500W delivered through its 25cm woofers, 13cm mid-range drivers, and multiple tweeters, the speaker pairs impressive power with Marshall’s 360° True Stereophonic sound for a wide, immersive audio experience. It also features a variety of dials, including a sound character dial that lets users switch between a punchy “Loud” mode for outdoor use and a more “Dynamic” mode for smaller spaces, providing flexibility for different party environments.

Beyond its audio capabilities, the Bromley 750 includes wheels, built-in carry handles, and an exchangeable battery that doubles as a power bank, along with an IP54 rating to withstand occasional spills. It offers over 40 hours of playback, which can be easily extended with backup batteries. Quite interestingly, Marshall has also added LED lighting, giving the speaker an extra touch of visual flair during use. As for connectivity, the speaker comes with twin 6.3mm jacks, a 35mm aux input/output, USB-C, RCA input, and Auracast support for sharing audio with multiple compatible devices.

The Marshall Bromley 750 is available for pre-order for S$1,699 from the Marshall booth (309) on level 3. According to the salesperson, it will be delivered sometime during September.

Nothing Headphone 1

They certainly have an interesting design.

Nothing’s Headphone 1 is the brand’s first over-ear headphones, and they certainly stand out. The design blends a boxy silhouette reminiscent of the AirPods Max with Nothing’s signature semi-transparent ear cups. 

Design aside, the headphones pack active noise cancellation, spatial audio, and support for lossless playback, powered by custom 40mm drivers developed with British HiFi brand KEF. They offer 35 hours of battery life with ANC on and an IP52 rating for water resistance. Additional features include a clickable volume wheel, a paddle for skipping or scrubbing tracks, a dedicated button for voice assistants or Nothing’s Channel Hop feature, multipoint Bluetooth, a 3.5mm jack, and a hard storage case.

The Nintendo Switch 2 is finally here, and visitors to the tech show can get their hands on the console along with the latest games and accessories at the Challenger booth. From the Nintendo Switch 2 official camera to the new Mario Kart World, there is something for Nintendo Switch owners. If you’re a Pokémon fan, you can also pre-order a physical copy of the latest Pokémon Legends Z-A which is set to arrive on 16 October.
