HTC claimed a lot of things, which other makes are able to achieve. For example, HTC Magic was left out in most upgrades in Asia citing hardware limitations, but was Froyo-ed in other regions.
I am a user of HTC Desire, and HTC claimed that Desire lacks hardware capabilities to be upgraded to GingerBread. I wonder if they will say the same thing for Sensation one year down the road!
