Intel has announced plans to extend its Atom x3 processor roadmap to IoT devices at IDF 2015 in Shenzhen. And in order to mark its 30 years in China, the company has also unveiled the Intel Mass Makerspace Accelerator Program to find and fund China's next global entrepreneurs.

Gigabyte has announced that its X99, Z97 and H97 motherboard line-ups will now feature support for the NVMe storage protocol and Intel's recently-announced 750 Series PCIe SSDs. NVMe offers improved performance and lower latencies over the older AHCI protocol, and will allow consumers to take advantage of the full potential of PCIe SSDs.
Amazon and Newegg have updated listings for the Windows and Linux versions of the Intel Compute Stick, an ultra-portable flash drive-sized PC that turns any HDMI-equipped display into a computer. Hit the link for more details.
Intel aims to rid the workplace of wires with Intel Pro WiDi and Wireless Docking technology, part of the technology built into its new vPro Intel Core processors. Wires are a drag on productivity, and Intel believes it can make workplaces more efficient and productive by eliminating the need for cables.
