Gigabyte has unveiled what it says is the world's first Thunderbolt 3-certified motherboard, the Z170X-UD5 TH. The board comes with two USB Type-C connectors on the rear for Thunderbolt 3 support, and also includes support for both DisplayPort 1.2 and USB 3.1.

Biostar and Gigabyte have announced that they will be showcasing motherboards based on Intel's upcoming 100-series chipset at Computex 2015. The new chipset will support Intel's sixth-generation Core processors and Broadwell's successor, codenamed Skylake.
