EVGA has launched its Classified SR-X motherboard that features Intel C606 chipset. The Classified SR-X is a dual-socket (LGA2011) board that exclusively supports Intel Xeon E5 processors. The board has twelve DIMM slots (supporting up to 96GB of memory) and seven PEG slots.
Gigabyte will showcase its 7 series motherboards supporting 3rd generation Intel Core processors at the CeBIT 2012 happening from 6 to 10 Mar 2012. Its coming Z77 lineup of motherboards is very similar to their X79 motherboards that were launched last year.

MSI has announced BIOS updates for its Intel Express Z68 and H61 motherboard series to support Intel Ivy Bridge processors. These updates will be released progressively on the official website of MSI. The new 22nm Ivy Bridge processors are expected to be launched in April.
