With Windows Phone 8 slated for a fall release this year, recent reports point at the possibility of Nokia introducing two Lumia Windows Phone 8 handsets on September 5th, coincidentally the first day of its Nokia World event, according to Chinese website WPDang.

Images published of an unannounced Nokia smartphone earlier this week have allegedly been confirmed to be authentic ones of the first Nokia WP8 smartphone, according to Nokia Innovation.

Microsoft’s senior marketing manager for Windows Phone, Greg Sullivan, sheds more light on why existing WP7 and WP7.5 handsets will not be getting the Windows Phone 8 update.
At Microsoft's TechEd Europe 2012, Microsoft briefly shared with us of the Company Hub concept, a one-stop location where an enterprise can host, manage and push relevant information, docs, apps and more that are relevant to each individual.
With the Shared Windows Core that is prevalent in Windows 8, Windows RT and Windows Phone 8, it's a lot easier to share code from one platform to another, thus accelerating app availability across devices. Microsoft's senior product managers further confirm this at TechEd Europe 2012.
