NFC Services Now Live in Singapore! (Update)
Citibank, DBS, EZ-Link, M1, SingTel, and StarHub, will launch the nation-wide NFC services through a secure, unified, and comprehensive third-party infrastructure managed by Gemalto and supported by IDA. Consumers will be offered a choice of multiple contactless payment products on their NFC phones, while businesses will have the option of deploying secured mobile services.

StarHub Ending Free Digital Voice Home Promotion (Update)
With effect from 1 September 2012, StarHub will be charging S$2.10 per month for new and existing pay TV and/or home broadband customers. Both M1 and Singtel will continue to offer their services free-of-charge to customers who subscribe to their respective fibre broadband plans.

StarHub has announced that they will be discontinuing their SmartSurf plans with 12GB and Unlimited Data Bundle "in the near future" with the i2Surf plans taking over as core post-paid plans, in light of its upcoming LTE infrastructure.

Customers who register their interest at StarHub will be contacted via phone or email after 25 May. In addition, the first 1,000 pre-registered customers will receive the Galaxy S III Essential Accessory Gift Pack worth S$240.
