With rumors announcing the iPad Mini's imminent release on 23 October, MacRumor, has recently received a pair of photographs of the upcoming tablet's battery.
Apple's October 23rd event is expected to reveal the much talked about 7-inch iPad Mini, followed by the 13-inch Macbook Pro with Retina display. And as if that wasn't enough, there's also speculation that the event will feature redesigned iMacs and updated Mac Minis.

A new report by the Guardian claims that the Apple iPad Mini would not come with cellular connectivity. In addition, Apple is said to be unveiling a modified version of the current iPad with support for 4G in the U.K.

The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) claims that Apple has ordered more than 10 million units of the iPad Mini for Q4 2012.
A new iPad with the designation iPad 3,6 appears in an Apple developer's log, which suggests a modified version of the current third-generation iPad model.

Just a day after the announcement that the device would be unveiled on the 17th of this month, tech website UkrainianiPhone has managed to get their hands on two mockup versions of the iPad Mini that have yet to surface, a black/slate variant and a nano SIM alternative.
