All New Homes to be Installed with Fibre Points According to Revised Code by IDA

To provide easier access to fibre broadband for new homes, the IDA has made some changes to the Code of Practice for Info-communication Facilities in Buildings (COPIF), which include the installation of optical fibre points in all new homes. These revisions will take effect from 1 May 2013.

StarHub Blazes Ahead with New Fibre Broadband Plans for Gamers

Two new gamer-centric fibre broadband plans named MaxInfinity LVL99 100 Mbps and MaxInfinity LVL99 150 Mbps will feature local download speeds of up to 100Mbps and 150Mbps respectively, with priority given to local gaming traffic for an enhanced gaming experience.

StarHub Ending Free Digital Voice Home Promotion (Update)

With effect from 1 September 2012, StarHub will be charging S$2.10 per month for new and existing pay TV and/or home broadband customers. Both M1 and Singtel will continue to offer their services free-of-charge to customers who subscribe to their respective fibre broadband plans.
