Nikon Announces 1 Nikkor 32mm f/1.2 Lens for Nikon 1 Mirrorless System
Nikon has announced a 1 Nikkor 32mm f/1.2 lens for the Nikon 1 mirrorless system cameras. It is the fastest Nikon 1 lens to be made available, and it also features Nikon's Nano Crystal coating as well as a Silent Wave motor and manual focus ring.

Panasonic Announces New Lumix G6 Mirrorless System Camera & 14-140mm Lens
Panasonic has revealed the Lumix G6, the successor to the mirrorless G5 camera. The new G6 comes with a 16MP Live MOS sensor and a new Venus Engine which promises high resolution with even lower image noise. Panasonic has also announced a new Lumix G 14-140mm f/3.5-5.6 lens with Power O.I.S.

Panasonic's New Lumix GF6 Comes with Wi-Fi and NFC
Panasonic has just announced the Lumix GF6, a new mirrorless system camera in the Micro Four Thirds family. The GF6 sees a new Mode dial, a 180-degree tilting LCD, a megapixel bump from 12MP to 16MP, higher video frame-rates at 1080/50i compared to the GF5's 1080/25p, and Wi-Fi with NFC.

Sony Announces 20mm f/2.8 Pancake Lens for NEX
Sony has announced a new 20mm f/2.8 pancake lens for the NEX E-mount cameras. With the E-mount's 1.5x crop factor, this lens will have a 35mm equivalent focal length of 30mm. The pancake design is slim but not especially bright at f/2.8.

Canon and Olympus Hold Largest Camera Market Share in Japan for 2012
Despite losing market share over the past year, Canon and Olympus still have the largest market share in the Japanese domestic camera market. Canon sees an increased DSLR market share and Olympus also remains the top mirrorless system camera manufacturer.
