Olympus has announced its new flagship Tough model, the Stylus Tough TG-3, which features an F2.0 super bright lens and macro photography features enabling close-up shots, and its premium big zoom Stylus SH-1, that combines a 24x aspherical zoom lens with a 5-axis image stabilization in a compact camera.

Olympus has added the M.Zuiko Digital 25mm F1.8 lens to its M.Zuiko Premium series, and expanded its M.Zuiko series to include the M.Zuiko Digital Ed 14-42mm F3.5-5.6 EZ lens.
Olympus has announced two Stylus compact digital cameras, TG-850 Tough, the first Tough series to be equipped with a tilting LCD, and SP-100 EE, the first Olympus camera to feature a built-in dot sight, along with the OM-D E-M5 PRO Lens Kit.

A limitation of the advanced compact cameras has always been their focal range, and the Stylus 1 gets rid of that with a 10.7x optical zoom lens that has a constant aperture of f/2.8 throughout its zoom range. Olympus has revealed a brand new flagship camera, the OM-D E-M1, scheduled for release in November. The E-M1 features a new sensor, 5-axis image stabilization, a built-in EVF and a combination AF system which allows it to mount the Zuiko lenses from Olympus' Four Thirds system.
