Apple has released a developer preview of OS X Mavericks, the 10th major release of OS X.
Apple has announced iTunes Radio, a free Internet radio service featuring over 200 stations and an extensive catalog of music from the iTunes Store, combined with proprietary features.
Apple just announced that it has 900,000 apps on its App Store, of which 375,000 are designed for the iPad.

According a Q1, 2013 report by Canalys, 59.5 percent of all smart devices in the market -- 308.7 million smartphones, tablets and notebooks -- were running Google's Android operating system. Apple was in second place with a 19.3 percent market share and Microsoft had a market share of 18.1, just slightly behind Apple.
