M1 announced today the launch of Singapore's first nationwide next-generation 4G network, with download speeds of up to 300mbps. All existing M1 customers currently signed up to one of M1's LTE 4G plans will be able to enjoy the faster download speeds at no additional charge.

Qualcomm has announced its new RF360 4G LTE baseband chip that aims to eliminate LTE band fragmentation. The Qualcomm RF360 radio chipset is able to support over 40 different frequencies currently used by carriers globally and seven cellular modes.
