Apple's legal disputes with Samsung continue, but this time, the Cupertino company may have an ace up its sleeve: Samsung's own internal documents that allegedly openly admit that the South Korean company mimicked the iPad, and was told off by Google for doing so.

Apple will be updating their iPod touch this year "using the same in-cell display technology rumored to be used in the next iPhone", according to a new report from KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. The device will also be closely modeled after the iPhone 4S as well, according to Japanese blog Macotakara.

Apple was previously fined in December last year by Italian authorities for misleading consumers. And that same issue is back again to haunt the Cupertino company with the impending threat of another fine and a 30-day closure of its Italian businesses.
A study done by Electric Power Research Institute reveals that charging your iPad will cost you an average of US$1.36 per year. The study also includes several other devices including the iPhone.

Less than a day after Google announces the availability of both Chrome and Google Drive apps for iOS devices, the former has already topped the free apps chart for iPhone as well as reigns second for iPad apps.
Google's Chrome web browser for Android is now out of its beta phase and ready for prime time, provided you have an Ice Cream Sandwich device that is. Chrome is also the default browser for Android devices running Jelly Bean. The Chrome app is now available for download in the iTunes app store for Singapore.
Google announced their cloud storage solution Google Drive late April this year. In the space of two months, Google has announced some essential enhancements, and even support for iOS devices at this year's Google I/O event. The app is now available in iTunes Store for Singapore.
