LG Electronics has agreed on a royalty-bearing smartphone patent licensing with Nokia Technologies where the Korean company will license 2G, 3G and 4G patents.
Korean telco KT is the first in the world to roll out "wireless 1Gbps" cellular service that delivers 15.6 times faster speeds than its 4G LTE counterpart. The Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge are the first devices to support such speeds in Korea.
