Acquired by Google in September, Snapseed, a popular photo-editing app, is now finally available for download on Google Play for free. Likewise, the iOS version of the app is also free for now (originally US$4.99), but has also been updated to include Google+ integration and some new filters.
Google has just announced that it’s no longer accepting new signups for the free edition of Google Apps. Luckily, if you’re already using it, today’s announcement has no impact on you, unless you wish to add more than 10 users.

Android users can now simply key in their name and phone numbers to use Facebook's updated messenger app. They're no longer required to log in with a Facebook account, which means users without Facebook accounts are also able sign up for the free messaging service.
The Google I/O 2013 event is scheduled to take place from May 15th to May 17th in San Francisco, with registration set to open early next year.

Google has announced the integration of its cloud-based service, Google Drive, into Gmail, allowing for the attachment of files of up to 10GB in size, 400 times larger than the previous limit of 25MB.
