At a press event held in San Francisco, Google revealed Chromecast. The HDMI dongle is a device that will help users stream media from smart devices on to their TVs.
Building on the Google Play Games Services first announced at Google I/O back in May, today Google launched its Google Play Games Android App, a new app for social gaming that brings some of the features of Apple’s Game Center to Android smartphones and tablets.
After tons of leaks, Google has today officially unveiled a new version of the Nexus 7 tablet. Running Android 4.3, it sports a Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core 1.5GHz processor, 2GB RAM, 1,920 x 1,200-pixel IPS LCD display, 5MP rear camera, and built-in Qi wireless charging.
Along with the brand new Google Nexus 7 tablet, Google also took the opportunity to unveil Android 4.3 -- an upgrade to Jelly Bean that brings with it a few new features like Bluetooth Smart support (Bluetooth Low-Energy) and restricted profiles.

Chromebook shipments are expected to increase by two or even three folds in the second half of 2013. This is due to an increase in orders by current Chromebook manufacturers Lenovo, Acer, HP and Samsung, who are also said to be launching new Chromebooks.
