M1, Singtel and Starhub will stop all 2G services in Singapore with effect from 1 April 2017. All three telcos will be offering a wide range of 3G and 4G handsets at various price points to help existing 2G customers transition to newer 3G and 4G networks.

Singtel will be the first company in Singapore to officially sell Google's Chromecast media streaming device. The thumb-drive sized device connects via WiFi and allows users to stream content from their smartphone, tablet or laptop. The Chromecast is on sale now at all Singtel retail stores for $65.
