Singapore gamer Ho Kun Xian, 22 (DM MCZ | Xian), won the Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition championship at Evo 2013 in Las Vegas. This is the first time a Singaporean has taken the championship at Evo.

Mass login attacks on the Nintendo fan site Club Nintendo has lead to approximately 24,000 accounts being compromised. Besides login passwords hackers made away with user information such as real names, addresses, phone numbers and e-mail addresses.

Aftershock PC, a local start-up that specializes in custom gaming notebooks, has just opened a concept store in Singapore. The retail space is located in Funan IT Mall, and would allow users to try out the notebooks before committing to one.
