PlayStation-like content will be offered to a variety of popular mobile devices in nine countries including Japan, US, Canada, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Australia with more countries to follow.
PlayStation Plus, the subscription service package on the PlayStation Network, is set to be available for PS Vita this November.
The PS3 starter pack will be available from 22 Nov, while the new PS Vita 3G/Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi models in Cosmic Red and Cypher Blue will be available on 15 Nov. Also, Sony has revised the price for PSP portable entertainment system as well as the PSP value pack.
In charcoal black or classic white, the PS3 will come in 3 models including extended built in HDD capacities of 500GB and 250GB, and a newly added 12GB flash memory model initially for Europe only.
