Rumor: AMD to Commence Production of Next-Gen FX CPUs in Q3 (Update)
AMD is rumored to be producing its second generation FX CPUs based on "Piledriver" architecture. The new architecture is purported to deliver a performance boost of 15 percent over the Bulldozer-based CPUs, a 5 percent improvement over its earlier estimated performance boost.
