All New Homes to be Installed with Fibre Points According to Revised Code by IDA
To provide easier access to fibre broadband for new homes, the IDA has made some changes to the Code of Practice for Info-communication Facilities in Buildings (COPIF), which include the installation of optical fibre points in all new homes. These revisions will take effect from 1 May 2013.

NFC Services Now Live in Singapore! (Update)
Citibank, DBS, EZ-Link, M1, SingTel, and StarHub, will launch the nation-wide NFC services through a secure, unified, and comprehensive third-party infrastructure managed by Gemalto and supported by IDA. Consumers will be offered a choice of multiple contactless payment products on their NFC phones, while businesses will have the option of deploying secured mobile services.
IDA to OpenNet: You Have Three Days
The Infocomm Development Authority (IDA) has imposed a new set of minimum standards for network builder OpenNet to comply, including a three-day window to complete fibre installation works for 98 percent of home users.

M1 to Appeal Against S$300,000 Fine by IDA
