With the competition releasing headsets soon, Razer's OSVR has been relegated to playing the catch-up game. While it won't be coming out before its competitors, it seems that Razer's been hard at work wooing developers to their OSVR platform, including one of their direct competitors!

Epic Games has announced that its preview release of Unreal Engine 4.8 will feature official support for Valve's SteamVR virtual reality platform. SteamVR is already used on the HTC Vive and boasts capabilities such as Lighthouse, Valve's laser-based room-scale tracking solution.

Steam is testing its new Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator with a group of Android beta testers. The new mobile authentication method will allow users to receive authentication codes via the Steam mobile app on their smartphone.
