We just learnt from Jonney Shih, Chairman of ASUS, that the company will be unveiling a flagship Android smartphone in the second half of 2014. It is likely to be the successor to the ASUS PadFone Infinity.
HTC just announced that a software update (version 1.54.707.7) is available for One (M8) users. Among the new features and improvements are the Extreme Power Saving Mode and SIM card optimizations.
ASUS today announced the availability of the ZenFone series in South East Asia, which are preloaded with the new ZenUI interface and PixelMaster camera technology for better image quality. The ZenFone 4, 5 and 6 are slated for a launch in Singapore next month.

Chinese phone maker Xiaomi may be a new player in the international market, but two of its smartphones are ranked among the top 10 global best selling smartphones in February 2014.
