Twitter has a new app that lets you live stream video broadcasts from your phone. It's called Periscope and it lets anyone easily broadcast whatever they're doing, whether it’s breaking news or making breakfast, taking the feed straight from your smartphone's camera.

Twitter has implemented two new mobile features: you can now tag up to 10 friends in a photo without using any of the 140 characters in your Tweet, and share up to four photos in a single Tweet.

Twitter (TWTR) shares will soon be traded on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) for US$26 per share, putting the company's value at US$14.1 billion. It will be offering 70 million shares at the listed price, and have granted underwriters a 30-day option to buy up to 10.5 million additional shares.

Twitter will file its initial public offering (IPO) on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) instead of the tech-heavy Nasdaq. Its amended S-1 form, a requisite for IPO proceedings in the United States, revealed the company's intentions.
