Report: PC Shipments See Worst Drop in Q1; HP Remains Top Vendor
Research firm IDC has released its first quarter PC shipment estimates for this year and it registered a sharp decline of 13.9 per cent from the same period in 2012. This is the steepest year-over-year decline since IDC began tracking the PC market's quarterly performance in 1994.

Report: IDC Expects Global Semiconductor Revenue to Hit US$319 billion in 2013
According to projections by research firm IDC, global semiconductor revenue is expected to reach US$319 billion in 2013. The bright spots in the market include portable computing devices, set-top boxes and automotive electronics that are expected to be key drivers of growth in the near future.
