Named Hawk, these Hynix-built SSDs was based on SandForce's SF2281 controller and SK Hynix Flash. Available in capacities of 120GB and 240GB, the 2.5-inch Hawk drive offers sequential read and write speeds of 510MB/s and 470MB/s respectively.
The new enterprise-class E100 SSD achieves up to 10 times improvements in endurance and reliability over client SSDs on existing hardware, while significantly reducing the physical footprint as notably fewer SSDs are needed to handle tasks of many traditional HDDs.
