The new NAND flash memory modules enable storage capacities of up to 64GB with SLC type NAND flash memory. Measuring only approx. 22 x 42mm, the modules support use in M.2 slots and will be available from August 2014.

Toshiba, in collaboration with SanDisk, have announced that they will begin production of 15nm NAND chips at the end of April. The new high density flash chips will enable higher storage mobile devices.
Toshiba has introduced the Canvio AeroMobile, a wireless SSD that lets you store, stream, and share files and media from mobile devices without the need for a cable. Weighing just 119g, it includes 128GB of storage capacity, and features a built-in rechargeable battery with up to eight hours of battery life for video streaming.
