Sony's in trouble in the US after the FTC found them guilty of misleading customers with their PS Vita ads. How did affected customers get reparations? Did Sony purposely word the ads to suggest things the Vita couldn't do or was it simply a mistake?

Sony's US$100 PlayStation Vita TV is a tiny console and set-top box which lets you play Vita, PSP and PS1 games on your TV. It can also be used as an extender for the upcoming PlayStation 4, letting you play on another TV.

SCEH has announced that the PlayStation Vita will be available at S$299 from 23 August in Singapore as new games are set to launch for the platform. Also, prices of the PS Vita memory cards will also be reduced.

PlayStation-like content will be offered to a variety of popular mobile devices in nine countries including Japan, US, Canada, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Australia with more countries to follow.
PlayStation Plus, the subscription service package on the PlayStation Network, is set to be available for PS Vita this November.
The PS3 starter pack will be available from 22 Nov, while the new PS Vita 3G/Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi models in Cosmic Red and Cypher Blue will be available on 15 Nov. Also, Sony has revised the price for PSP portable entertainment system as well as the PSP value pack.

Firmware version 1.80 has gone live for Sony's handheld, portable console the PS Vita bringing about a few changes. Not only can the device now be used as a controller for the PlayStation 3, but is also compatible with selected PlayStation 1 titles.
