Hisense, a manufacturer based in Qingdao, China, has risen to fourth position in the global ranking of total TV shipments by manufacturer. It lost to Sony by a mere 0.1% overall, but defeated the same company and ranked among the top 3 in the 4K and large-screen TV segments.

Toshiba has unveiled their new range of televisions at CES 2014. The 4K TVs on offer range from an 84-inch behemoth to a 50-inch model. In addition there are also a number of HD screens that users can look forward to in the coming months.
At CES 2014 today, Samsung expanded its TV line-up by unveiling its latest range of curved UHD TVs, including the world's first and largest curved-screen UHD TV at 105-inches wide.
