Expanding the existing NexStar HX series released earlier this year, the Vantec NexStar HX4 quad bay storage enclosure is now capable of supporting more terabytes of usable storage space up to four drives simultaneously and RAID redundancy modes for more advanced users.
The "A-Drive", one of the world's thinnest 5mm hybrid hard drive in a 2.5-inch form factor, was officially launched to commemorate the Data Storage Institute's (DSI) 20 years of R&D in the area of data storage capabilities.
The 64GB Kingston microSDXC Class 10 memory card operates on the exFAT file system that is designed to handle extremely large volumes of data, such as files bigger than 4GB, and offers a speed "class" rating known as Class 10 that delivers a 10MBps minimum sustained transfer rate for optimum performance with microSDXC compatible devices.
