Besides the 5D Mark III, Canon has also announced three new EF lenses and a host of new EOS accessories. The EF24-70mm f/2.8 II USM is the upgrade to the staple 24-70mm, while the EF24mm f/2.8 IS USM and EF28mm f/2.8 IS USM are wide-angle prime lenses with image stabilization.
Canon has announced the new 5D Mark III DSLR camera, the successor to the three-year old 5D Mark II. The 5D Mark III sports a brand new, 22.3MP full-frame sensor and the Digic 5+ processor which is 17 times faster than the Digic 4 processor. Native ISO sensitivity and frames per second shooting speeds have both been increased.
Norwegian landscape photographer Terje Sørgjerd achieved some fame the year before when his beautifully shot video The Mountain went viral. He received a rude surprise yesterday when he saw parts of his video being used, without his knowledge, in a promotional video from a Nikon D800 launch event in Bangkok.
