Canon Singapore has launched four new digital compact cameras in the IXUS range - IXUS 255 HS, IXUS 140, IXUS 135 and IXUS 132.

Along with four Handycam models announced at CES 2013, Sony is also releasing the HDR-PJ230E and HDR-TD30VE. All new Handycams feature a wide-angle lens with less than 30mm focal length, enabling scenic landscapes and large groups of people to be captured in a single shot.

Sony has extended its line of Cyber-shot cameras with the new Cyber-shot WX300, HX300 and TX30 compact digital cameras.
On top of announcing the SLT-A58 and NEX-3N, Sony has introduced a host of lenses and accessories to complement the cameras.
Sony has announced the SLT-A58, Sony's latest DSLR offering and first to feature 'TRIMUMINOS Color' support, as well as the NEX-3N, the smallest and lightest interchangeable-lens camera with a large APS-C sized sensor.

Sony has announced a new Handycam range of Full HD camcorders at the CES 2013. The new Handycam models come with proprietary Balanced Optical SteadyShot technology, Exmor R CMOS sensor, and Advanced Sound System (on selected models), among others.

Toshiba is developing a light-field camera for use in smartphones and tablets. Like the light-field image sensor found in the Lytro camera, Toshiba's camera will allow photographers to change the focal point in an image after it's been shot.
