Samsung Display said Monday that it will terminate its contract with Apple Inc. The South Korean display maker will no longer supply liquid crystal display (LCD) panels to its long time partner, according an article published by The Korea Times.

They will be able to collect their smartphones from 6pm onwards today at M1 Paragon, SingTel ComCentre and StarHub Plaza Singapura, while sales for the 'phablet' device will commence for the rest of us from tomorrow.

Samsung has started sending out press invites for an exclusive launch in New York on the 24th of October. The press invite showcases a picture of a stylus, which gives us a lot of reason to suspect that "The Next Big Thing" is indeed the Galaxy Note II.
