As previously reported, two versions of the A9 processor can be found inside the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, one made by Samsung, and one made by TSMC. Initial reports showed slight differences between the two chipsets. However, new tests have shown that the TSMC chip may have up to two hours better battery life than Samsung's.

Chipworks reports that there are actually two different sized A9 processors in the Apple iPhone 6s and 6s Plus. One of them is manufactured by Samsung while the other is built by Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC).

Samsung apparently tried to gatecrash the launch of the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus in London by issuing free blankets, bottles and pillows to those in the queue. The Korean company also showcased a 4K video shot using its Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge+.
The Galaxy Studio exhibition at Ngee Ann City over the weekend has various hands-on activities as well as lucky draw contests, on top of accepting pre-orders for the Samsung Gear S2 smartwatch.
