Fujifilm has announced two new cameras; the X-E2 is their newest mid-range mirrorless camera, it comes with a new 16MP X-Trans II sensor and hybrid auto-focus. The XQ1 is an enthusiast compact with a 12MP X-Trans II sensor inside.

Fujifilm has launched the Fujinon XF23mm f/1.4R lens for the Fujifilm X-series of mirrorless system cameras. The focal length works out to 35mm in 35mm equivalent and means the X mirrorless system cameras will finally have a 35mm focal length to equal that of the X100S, which has a 35mm f/2 lens.
Fujifilm has just announced the X-A1, their fourth mirrorless system camera. It's an entry-level camera which uses the same body as the X-M1, but with a conventional 16MP APS-C sensor rather than Fujifilm's unique X-Trans sensor.

A day after it was leaked, Fujifilm has announced the X-M1, an entry-level camera for Fujifilm's X-series together with two new lenses. The camera will be the lightest and most compact in Fujifilm's mirrorless series, and it'll be the first to feature a tilting LCD as well as built-in Wi-Fi.

Fujifilm and Panasonic have announced the joint development of a brand new organic CMOS image sensor with expanded dynamic range and increased sensitivity. Fujifilm has announced the successors to their high-end X100 and X10 cameras with the X100S and the X20. Both cameras come with Fujifilm's newly developed X-Trans CMOS II sensor, which Fujifilm says can increase resolution by 25% and reduce image noise by more than 30%.
