SCCP Payment Services has launched Swiff, a mobile payment platform that accepts credit/debit card payments from customers on-the-go, today in Singapore. The platform works through the use of a multi-authenticated plug-in device and app, of which currently runs on iPhone, Android and BlackBerry devices.
OMGPOP, the developer of the wildly popular game Draw Something has just been acquired by Zynga to the tune of $200 million.
Comixology has updated its Comics iPad app and introduced CMX-HD support for Retina-optimized comics, The Verge reports.

World of Warcraft's senior producer John Lagrave has made mention about getting World of Warcraft running on an iOS device... some day. Eurogamer reports.
Besides confirming complaints of the new iPad heating up under heavy usage, Consumer Reports also found that the Apple slate would not charge under heavy loads.

If you've been searching for the personal hotspot feature on your new iPad, we have some bad news for you. It's not available on the iPads that are currently being sold in Singapore, but it might be available through a future update sent out by the Singapore carriers.
