Intel is rumored to be working on new SSD specifications for ultrabook applications. The new set of specifications is allegedly named Next Generation Form Factor (NGFF) and Intel aims to replace the existing mSATA SSD specifications due to its storage capacity limitations.

HP unveils imaging and printing solutions, business-driven PCs, and ultrabook systems including (but not limited to) the HP Envy Spectre XT, HP Envy Sleekbooks and Ultrabook systems, HP EliteBook Folio 9470m, and the HP Officejet 150 Mobile All-in-One printer.
Dell has launched their own project Sputnik, which looks to bring the Linux operating system to their XPS 13 ultrabook. The six-month pilot program will look to produce a product that would satisfy the requirements of mobile and web developers.
