Microsoft has announced that the SkyDrive app from the Windows Store will start showing notifications on the live tile as you add new files to your SkyDrive. Hopefully, more features like offline sync for Windows RT will come soon.

For Windows Phone 8 users using the Rooms feature, you can still invite people on other platforms. However, since they can't see the shared calendar, photos, and notes in one centralized location, a few other apps are needed.

A revamp for SkyDrive to bring it more in line with the new "Modern" looks of Windows 8 will be rolling out by tomorrow. Besides changing the aesthetics the cloud storage service will also be getting new features and functionality.

Looks like Microsoft isn't taking a back seat when it comes to cloud storage. Having revamped Skydrive earlier this week, Microsoft is now giving Windows Live and Hotmail users a massive upgrade to 25GB of storage space.

SingTel's Store and Share, Singapore's first cloud storage service, will offer consumers up to 10GB of free online storage for their documents and multimedia content. The app is available on the iOS and Android platforms.
