Nikon's newest D5300 DSLR adds Wi-Fi and GPS, while removing the AA filter to increase clarity of detail. The camera comes with the same 24MP sensor as found on the Nikon D7100, a larger 3.2" tilting LCD and slightly larger optical viewfinder.

Canon has announced the EOS 70D DSLR camera, the successor to the EOS 60D. The EOS 70D comes with a brand new auto-focus technology Canon is calling 'Dual Pixel CMOS AF' (auto-focus), which promises to vastly improve auto-focus speed while shooting in Live View.

Canon has just announced two brand new DSLR cameras, the 100D and the 700D. Canon calls the 100D "the world's smallest, lightest DSLR", and is essentially the mirrorless EOS M in a DSLR shell with better battery life. The 700D update brings it closer in specifications to the two and a half-year old EOS 60D.

Nikon has just announced the D5200 DSLR camera, the successor to the D5100 which was released in early 2011. Like the D5100, the D5200 is Nikon's higher-powered entry-level model and sits above the basic D3200. It comes with a 24MP sensor, 39 AF points and a completely redesigned user interface.
