Pulse Newsreader Acquired by LinkedIn for US$90 Million
Professional network LinkedIn has recently confirmed its acquisition of 3-year-old news reading app, Pulse Newsreader, for about US$90 Million. 90% of deal was settled with LinkedIn stock, while 10% was in cash.

Flipboard Spotted on Samsung Galaxy S III
Flipboard, an app that collects content from social media and other websites and collates them all into a magazine format, has always been an iOS-exclusive app. However, it seems the app is no longer exclusive to Apple's ecosystem as it was spotted on Samsung's new flagship mobile phone, the Galaxy S III.
