Tablets and smartphones have benefited from Corning's tough and resilient Gorilla Glass displays. It's no surprise that the company will be showcasing an improved version, dubbed Gorilla Glass 2, at CES 2012.
The white Samsung Galaxy Nexus will be making an appearance in UK in early February according to UK retailers, Clove and MobileFun.
Similar to NVIDIA's Tegra Zone, Qualcomm's Snapdragon GameCommand gathers games that are optimized for the company's Snapdragon processors. The app will be unveiled at CES 2012 on 10th January with a concurrent launch on the Android Market.
Research in Motion will be showcasing its upcoming BlackBerry 10 operating system at Mobile World Congress 2012. It is unclear whether the company will demonstrate the capabilities of the platform on a device.

A report from app analytical firm Distimo revealed Google's Android Market now has over 400,000 apps available, as it inches closer to the 500,000 active apps in Apple's App Store.
Samsung adds another member to the Galaxy series with its announcement of the Galaxy M Style smartphone. Primarily aimed at the mass market, the Samsung Galaxy M Style ships with a 4-inch Super AMOLED display, 1GHz single-core processor and runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

Preloaded with Android 4.0, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus will be available in Singapore from February 2012, priced at S$948 before contract. The Korean company also announced the availability of its mid-range Samsung Galaxy W Android smartphone, sometime in Jan 2012.
The week of December 25th through 31st, saw more iOS and Android device activations compared to any other week of the year, according to Flurry Analytics.
Sony Ericsson will be announcing a new smartphone next week during Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2012. The device is likely to be the Sony Ericsson Arc HD (codenamed Nozomi).
