ST-Ericsson (STE) unveiled its latest quad-core processor, the NovaThor L8580. It can be clocked up to 2.5GHz and consumes 50% less power than its competitors.
Samsung announced the Galaxy S II, which runs on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and uses the same hyperglazed plastic as the Galaxy S III and Galaxy Note II.

Lenovo announced its latest flagship smartphone, the K900 which is the first phone in the world to be powered by Intel's recently announced Clover Trail+ platform.
