It looks like those getting Windows RT devices on October 26 will also be getting the final version of Office RT on the same day. According to Ars Technica, Microsoft is already delivering an update via Windows Update that will convert the pre-installed preview copy to the final version.

Online pre-order for Microsoft's ARM-based Surface RT tablets has started. The 32GB version is priced at US$499 without the Touch Cover; with the cover, it costs US$599. Acer has announced the availability and pricing details for its two new Windows 8 AIOs, the Acer Aspire 7600U and 5600U. The 23-inch Aspire 5600U will be available from October 26 while its larger 27-inch brethren will be available in late November.

In order to catch up to competitors such as Apple and Amazon, Microsoft has announced the launch of their own digital music service which goes by the name of Xbox Music. Currently available for the Xbox 360, the service will be expanded to smartphones, tablets and PCs with the launch of Windows 8.
