Acer has officially released its new Predator X34 curved G-Sync monitor. First seen at Computex 2015, the Predator X34 is 34-inches large and supports a QHD resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels.

Acer has launched its XR341CK IPS display with support for AMD's FreeSync variable refresh rate technology. Its 3440x1440 resolution should produce sharp images on its massive 34-inch curved display, and gamers will also appreciate the extra-wide viewing angles afforded by the 21:9 aspect ratio.

Looks like smartphones with curved displays are ready for prime time with Samsung officially announcing the Galaxy Round, a smartphone with 5.7-inch full HD Super AMOLED display.
