At the Mobile World Congress, Sony had introduced its latest mobile devices, including the waterproof Xperia Z2 and mid-range Xperia M2 smartphones, along with its 6.4mm-thin waterproof Xperia Z2 tablet. Now, the Japanese company has revealed that its SmartBand and Lifelog application will be available globally from March 2014.
In addition to announcing its waterproof Xperia Z2 and mid-range Xperia M2 smartphones at the MWC, Sony has also introduced its ultra-slim waterproof Xperia Z2 tablet which boasts a 10.1-inch Full HD TRILUMINOS Display for mobile with Sony’s new Live Color LED technology.

At the MWC, Sony announced its latest addition to the premium Z series - the waterproof Xperia Z2, that features a new enhanced video mode that captures, and preserves memories in detailed 4K resolution, as well as its mid-range Xperia M2 smartphone that offers blockbuster entertainment and flagship experiences.

It's the first day of the CP+ Camera and Photo Imaging Show 2014 and there's a flurry of camera announcements. Among these are four Sony compacts and two superzoom cameras, that are slated to hit the Asia Pacific markets within the next two months.
Sony's latest mirrorless camera, the Alpha 6000, is the successor to the mid-range NEX-6. It comes with faster auto-focus, with the ability to shoot up to 11 frames per second with subject tracking. More megapixels, from 16MP to 24MP, round off the package.

It seems like Sony has upped the ante with its marketing strategies after announcing its abandonment of its Vaio PC business to focus on smartphones and tablets.
With Sony in talks with Apple to provide camera modules for the iPhone 6's front-facing camera, the former will double its production of sensors, just to cater to Apple alone.
