Sony has announced a firmware upgrade for its NEX-5, NEX-3, SLT-A33 and SLT-A55. This upgrade is applicable for NEX-5 and NEX-3 cameras with firmware versions ver.01, ver.02 and ver.03 and SLT-A33 and SLT-A55 cameras with firmware version ver.1.10.

Sony reportedly suffered another hack attack yesterday. This time, a group of hackers claims to have accessed the SonyPictures.com servers and compromised personal data belonging to one million customers, which the group said it then posted in a file on its website.

Sony will fully restore all PlayStation Network services today in America, Europe/PAL territories and Asia, excluding Japan, Hong Kong, and South Korea.

Sony's PlayStation Network will be fully restored by the end of the week, except for Hong Kong, Japan and South Korea which aren't given a restoration date just yet.
