Sony has announced that its water-resistant smartwatch with NFC connectivity is now retailing at S$338 with a black metallic strap, or S$288 with a black silicone strap. Strap options in black or brown leather and silicon in various colors are also available.

Think of the new Sony RX10 as an RX100 II with a large telephoto lens. Based on the same 1" sensor as the RX100 II, the RX10 has a Carl Zeiss Vario Sonnar T* 24-200mm zoom lens with an f/2.8 constant maximum aperture.
Sony has announced two new full-frame mirrorless system cameras, the A7 and A7R. The two bodies are nearly identical, the A7 has a 24MP sensor while the A7R has a 36MP sensor with no optical low-pass filter. Both cameras are designed around the Sony NEX E-mount and will be available in November.

According to rumors, Sony will be unveiling two full-frame mirrorless cameras this week. Using the same E-mount found on Sony's NEX series of cameras, the A7 is expected to use a new 24MP full-frame sensor, while the AA-filter-less A7R will have a 36MP full-frame sensor.

According to the Hong Kong Oriental Daily, Foxconn has inked a deal with the Xi'an Institute of Technology to expose 1000 students from the school to working on the assembly line of Sony's PlayStation 4.
