Twitter has recently confirmed that it will be closing TweetDeck mobile apps on May 7. TweetDeck apps for Android, iOS and Adobe AIR will be removed from their app stores and will cease to function. TweetDeck for web and Chrome however will still be kept alive, and will be updated weekly.

Google Play Music is now available in seven more countries. Users in Australia, New Zealand, Belgium, Luxemburg, Austria, Ireland and Portugal are now able to store their music in Google Play for free, and stream them to their Android devices from anywhere.

Google has apparently been working on a redesign to Android's Google Play store that will include brighter colors and bigger images, not to mention a clean new interface. Leaked images inside.
Tumblr, one of the top social media sites on the web, has just updated its Android app with a whole new look. The app comes with fancy new animations, and a look that's more in-line with Android's "Holo" theme.
